Take the M4 from its box:

• Hold the top right button for 2 seconds and you are guided through simple height and weight settings and you select fitness, training or weight loss
• Choose Fitness and the suggested exercise routine will be optimised over a 7-day period to get you fit
• Press the top right button again, choose Fitness Test and you'll be asked to "walk a measured mile as fast as possible" so the watch can start to accurately calibrate your fitness level and tune your routine
• If you want a plan, choose Suggestion and you'll get the next 7-day plan starting today
• Choose Exercise and when you start you'll see real time stats of Heart Rate, Calories, Time etc and a rev counter indicator displaying progress towards today's goal. Progress messages pop up at various stages together with encouraging congratulations as you hit your targets

M4 keeps you in the zone throughout with messages and alarms. If you exercise at different levels or miss a session, M4 recalculates and suggests a new routine to keep you on track.
