The SteriPEN Adventurer Opti UV Water Filter is the original portable, battery-powered water filter that allows you to treat clear water from any source you find in the wilds to make it safe to consume (cloudy water reduces effectiveness of unit).

When turned on, this unit emits ultra-violet light which safely sterilises clear water by destroying 99.99% of protozoa such as Giardia and Cryptosporidia, bacteria and viruses.

This UV light will last long enough for use for about 8000 treatments before the pair of readily available, inexpensive coin batteries need replacing.

The SteriPEN Adventurer Opti UV Water Filter can also be used as an LED flashlight.
