Scarpa Men’s Spark GTX Gore-Tex Trail Running Shoes use the same Speedlite sole technology but the use of Gore-Tex will tell you that the uppers are able to repel the rain, mud and whatever else tries to penetrate into your footwear.

The hardest-working part of the Scarpa Spark GTX Shoes is the Speedlite sole unit which combines an EVA midsole with a 6-mm drop that creates a natural movement from heel strike to take off. This increases the shoes’ shock absorption and helps to reduce fatigue.

An additional EVA layer has been added across the forefoot to reduce stretching so underfoot support will not reduce with time. The outsole features a dedicated braking zone and Helix lugs which provide a multi-directional grip but which will also be great at freeing the bottom of your shoes of detritus to preserve traction.
