In order to develop an effective technical walking sock range with the scope to provide optimum protection for a broad spectrum of activities, a combination of natural and man-made performance fibres and finishes are used.

Cotton: Cotton is unique and probably the most important natural fibre, representing approximately half of all fibres used in the world's textile industry. The natural qualities of cotton make it perfect for use in a walking sock for milder climates that is durable, lightweight and cool and soft next to the skin.

Wool/Meraklon: The Wool/Meraklon blend combines the natural insulation and moisture absorption characteristics of wool with the low thermal conductivity and wicking properties from external temperature and very low heat diffusion. Not only this, the Wool/Meraklon blend is durable, proven to be five times more resistant to wear than 100% wool. It has exceptional dimensional stability after washing yet still maintains its extreme softness next to the skin.

TriSeal: TriSeal technology is unique to HJ Hall, offering triple protection to help seal feet into the perfect environment. The Wool/Meraklon blend provides excellent wicking properties and protection from external temperature with very low heat diffusion, while the invisible protective coating repels water and stains and prevents bacterial growth and odour. The result is a sock which helps to keep feet dry, clean and at an ideal temperature, in even the very worst weather conditions.
