The Petzl Nao Belt Kit allows the battery of the Petzl Nao Reactive Lighting Headlamp to be worn on a belt.

The Petzl Nao Belt Kit helps to reduce neck strain when the head torch is worn over a long period of time or when one is very active, such as when running. The Nao Belt Kit does this by moving some of the weight of the head torch onto the user’s hips.

If temperatures drop to below what even the Nao’s high-performance 2300-mAh Lithium Ion battery can fully function fin, then attaching the headlamp’s battery at the belt means it can be insulated from the cold by outer layers of clothing such as a jumper or a jacket. This is an excellent solution for winter expeditions as it keeps the battery warm and performing at its best.
