Easily assembled in seconds, the Personal (IED) and Mine Extraction Kit (PMEK) is a compact, lightweight kit designed to be carried by people and vehicles at all times when travelling in areas where mines or IED's may be.

This kit could save lives.

The Kit comprises:

• A non-magnetic scraper to carefully remove any loose earth covering the device from a distance
• A non-magnetic, pointed and strong mine prodder designed to penetrate hard compacted ground - adjustable to 40 cm (16 inches) long
• 25 coloured marker pegs to clearly mark the location of any device or of cleared ground
• 30 small chemical light sticks for night marking, which can be clipped into the marker pegs
• An aid-memoire on minefield marking and prodding techniques
• A light-touch brush for removing sand and debris from around the device
• A tripwire feeler

The contents of the Personal (IED) and Mine Extraction Kit (PMEK) all come packaged in a neat MOLLE belt pouch.
