Capable of flying at speeds of over Mach 3.2 and at 85,00 feet, throughout its 24 year career, the SR-71 remained the fastest and highest flying production aircraft in the world, setting many aviation records. Such a remarkable aircraft, only a remarkable watch is fit to bear the name, SR-71 Blackbird.

The Luminox SR-71 Blackbird watch series acknowledges and celebrates the SR-71 Blackbird's record accomplishments and significance in aviation history.

Emulating the look and strength of the SR-71, the SR-71 Blackbird Chronograph watch features dark stealth styling with the case, case back, crown and bracelet all manufactured from tough black PVD-plated steel.

The black dial of the SR-71 Blackbird evokes the look of the cockpit of the fighter jet with the digital compass display coupled with the analogue hour hands.

The Luminox SR-71 Blackbird Chronograph features Luminox's unique illumination system, Luminox Light Technology (LLT) which utilises self-powered micro gas lights installed into the hands and hour markers making the watch more visible and easier to read in low or no light situations. Luminox Light Technology requires no button pushing and no external light sources to "charge" paint on the dial or hands in order to glow. The best bit? Luminox watches glow 100 times brighter than other luminous watches.
