The Luminox SR-71 Blackbird watch series acknowledges and celebrates the SR-71 Blackbird's record accomplishments and significance in aviation history.

Emulating the look and strength of the SR-71, the SR-71 Blackbird Compass watch features dark stealth styling with the case, case back, crown and bracelet all manufactured from tough black PVD-plated steel.

The black dial of the SR-71 Blackbird evokes the look of the fighter jet with the chronograph dials reminescent of the dials of the cockpit.

Water resistant to 100 metres (10 ATM, 330 feet) Luminox SR-71 Blackbird is suitable for recreational snorkelling.

While it may all be brawn on the outside, beneath the tough exterior of the SR-71 Blackbird lies the brains, a sophisticated Swiss made Valjoux automatic chronograph movement and Luminox's unique illumination system, Luminox Light Technology (LLT).

LLT utilises self-powered micro gas lights installed into the hands and hour markers making the watch more visible and easier to read in low or no light situations. LLT requires no button pushing and no external light sources to "charge" paint on the dial or hands in order to glow. The best bit? Luminox watches glow 100 times brighter than other luminous watches.
