The GoPro HD HERO Naked Sports Action Camera is the latest addition to the GoPro range of wearable cameras.

Naked, why naked? Well the GoPro HD HERO Naked is going back to basics.

Just as its creator intended, stripping off any unnecessaries, the Naked comes with one mount for attaching the camera to a helmet or other curved surface, the camera itself, the camera housing and a removable rechargeable lithium-ion battery and cables - essentially everything you need to get out and shoot some natural footage.

Want stills? The camera can also shoot automatic 5MP photos at 2-, 5-, 10-, 30- and 60-second intervals during your session, hands-free. Press the shutter button once and record up to 2.5 hours of poster-print quality photos of you and your friends living it up.

Don't let a little rain or even a ton of water get in the way of getting the shot. The highly engineered polycarbonate exoskeletal housing is waterproof to 180 ft (60 m) and tough enough to take a fall onto the asphalt. Trash the housing in a massive crash? GoPro's are built to take a beating - but even the toughest cave in eventually, right? But have no fear as replacement housings and lens kits are available, making repairs or refurbishing your HD HERO camera affordable and convenient.

Should you wish to cover up your GoPro HD HERO Naked, it is compatible with all other GoPro HERO camera mounting accessories, so it's very easy to expand the functionality of your camera to suction cup to vehicles, clamp to bike handlebars and seat posts, mount to surfboards and it can even be worn on the wrist or chest.
