Fouled Anchor Wood Table Lamp

The Fouled Anchor Wood Table Lamp harks back to a classic nautical feature that used to be a familiar and hated element of the sailor’s life onboard wind-driven sailing ships when the anchor became caught on something on the seabed such as a rock or, as here, the ship’s cable became entwined round the anchor.

The fouled anchor is used as the official seal of the Lord High Admiral of Britain, presently HRH Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh, and it is flown on the ship when it is carrying the monarch to sea. The fouled anchor is also flown during the launching of a warship of the Royal Navy.

This classic fouled anchor design, recreated in wood and rope, forms the base for this table lamp in a choice of three colours.

  • Each measures 41 cm high with 25 cm diameter shade
  • Supplied with UK plug
  • Available in blue, white, red
