The oil-repellent and water-repellent (oleo on lens description) treatment applied to the outer surface of the lenses has the effect of preventing dirt, grease and water staying on the lenses rather than distracting you by interfering with your vision.

The anti-fog (AF) coating most of the lens types of this range have will help keep your clarity of vision through any weather conditions.
