Alpina R-Tech HM Recon Ready Ski and Snowboard Goggles are excellent snowsports goggles in their own right but they also have the advantage that they can be fitted with the Recon Micro Optic Display (MOD - sold separately).

The MOD module converts the goggles into a GPS unit that can display within the goggle lens such real-time details of your speed, jump airtime, location, vertical distance of the stretch covered, temperature and altitude.

An alternative module option is MOD LIVE, which adds Bluetooth, navigation, caller ID, play lists, friend tracking and foot pod counter and tracker to the functions of MOD.

Note: MOD and MOD LIVE are additional accessory options and not supplied as standard with Alpina R-Tech HM Recon Ready Ski Goggles.

The goggles themselves feature HybridMirror lenses that boast very high contrast and brightening characteristics to help you see what dips and rises in the snow you are approaching as well as other qualities to ensure a minimum of fogging as well as 100% UVA, UVB and UVC protection.

Features

• Turbo Venting System: The use of special masking foams optimises air exchange within the goggles. The air circulation thus created removes humidity and prevents the goggles from fogging.
• Hinge Band: The band on the goggles is attached to hooks on the outside of the frame. These ensures that the goggles fit snugly, particularly when worn together with a ski helmet.
• Skid Grip: The rubberized lining of the goggle band prevents it from slipping on the ski helmet.
• Spherical Lens: The lens curved toward the outside ensures better peripheral vision and enlarges the interior volume of the goggles for optimized ventilation of the goggles.
