Water Neutralisation and Water Treatment are vital when clean water is not available. We have a range of products from Chlorination or Iodine, to UV Light.

While Chlorine and Iodine are not as effective as Water Filters against bacteria and protozoa such as Giardia Lamblia and Cryptosporidium; Chlorination, and Iodine, are able to kill smaller bacteria and viruses which are too small to be stopped by Filters.

For a more completed Water Treatment Solution, Water Filters should be used in conjunction with Water Neutralisation. First filter the dirty water, to remove the larger bacteria and protozoa (Giardia & Cryptosporidium) and then treat the water with Chlorine or Chlorine Dioxide to remove the smaller bacteria and viruses.

UV Light also provides a viable solution to unsafe water, while it is less useful for water that has high turbidity (murky), in clear water it is very effective at deactivating cysts: Giardia Lamblia and Cryptosporidium. UV light is also less effective against viruses and has no residual disinfectant and so it is advisable to use a chemical solution, such as Chlorination, after UV Light.
