Snorkel Fins are worn for diving and snorkelling to enhance mobility and aid swimming in open water.
There are two main types of diving or snorkel fins, open heel and shoe fin:
- Open heel snorkel fins are usually slightly bigger and more robust. They can be worn with wetsuit boots for protection against sharp coral and rocks. Open heel fins have an adjustable heel strap and come in small, medium and large sizes.
- Shoe Fins or 'pool' snorkel fins are shorter, lighter and are worn like a rubber shoe. Unsurprisingly, snorkel shoe fins are supplied in shoe sizes making it easy to find a fit.
TIP: For growing children, a larger size can be purchased and worn with socks.
