Ski Goggles are a better way to protect your eyes than
sunglasses because they offer a complete seal around face keeping out all UV
light. Wearing Ski Goggles also means that eyes don't water when travelling at high speeds. Ski Goggles are
also less likely to come off in a fall because they are secured via a headband.
As with some skiing sunglasses, Ski Goggles have different coloured lenses available to cope
with different light conditions.

For clear sunny days on the slopes a darkened lens is
beneficial. Mirrored lenses are also just as beneficial in these conditions
and look ultra cool in bright light! For example the

For overcast days and during snow storms orange or
yellow coloured lenses will be your only hope of seeing where you're going
in flat light conditions, as they help to define contrast of bumps in the
snow. The CEBE Track or THE NORTH FACE
Vortex Ski goggles are ideal.

For Good all round Ski Goggles that will cope with
all conditions reasonably well, a medium darkness lens should be fitted.
Goggles available with such lenses include the BOLLE Nova and the UVEX
Apache High performance ski goggles.
