Scrimshaw Marine Products refer to the handiwork created by whalers made from the by-products of harvesting marine mammals and often specifically out of the bones and teeth of sperm whales and the tusks of walruses. The range here is a very authentic-looking reproduction using cow bone.
Basketware has been a traditional product of sea-going craftsmen and many of this range are Nantucket-style items replicating the style of the work of the crews of Nantucket lightships of the mid-19th century.
