Climbing Quickdraws are used while lead climbing to connect your Climbing Rope to your Bolt Anchor. Quickdraws, or ‘Draws’, are primarily used to reduce rope drag by straightening the path of the rope.
Quickdraws also make clipping the rope faster, thus protecting yourself faster.
Quickdraws consist of two Carabiners: a straight-gate carabiner and a bent-gate carabiner connected by a sling, known as the 'dogbone'. The straight-gate carabiner is used to clip to the bolt while the bent-gate carabiner is designed to hold the rope.
We have a good selection of Quickdraws from well known and respected brands such as Grivel and Edelrid.
If you want to make up your own Quickdraws, we also have ranges of separate Carabiners and Slings.
