Life Jacket, Buoyancy Aid or Flotation Clothing?
- Life Jacket: Children and weak swimmers should always wear a life jacket in and around water of any description. Passengers on private vessels should also wear full life jackets
- Buoyancy Aid: Less bulky than life jackets, buoyancy aids provide greater manoeuvrability, making them ideal for dinghy sailing, water skiing, jet-skiing, wakeboarding and all water sports
- Flotation Clothing: Appropriate where ease of movement is of primary concern to the wearer; buoyant clothing looks less cumbersome while providing added buoyancy should you need it
